Inquiring Into Canada: Nunuvut Territory

We were so lucky to have a hands-on experience with some artifacts from Iqaluit. We got to feel caribou skin muk-luks, Arctic hare mitts, sealskin muk-luks, an Arctic fox complete skin, and a rug made from a polar bear skin complete with head and claws!

Oona shared a slideshow of photos from her family trip to Yukon.

In groups of three, the students read a book that compared Inuit lifestyles in the past with today and recorded the facts on a comparison chart.
