We read a book that introduced the concept of tangram puzzles as a storytelling tool. The children were excited to cut out their own tangram sets and explore puzzles. In a follow-up discussion several helpful strategies for solving the puzzles were identified:
1. Place the 2 large triangles first as they are the most difficult to fit.
2. Start with the easier puzzles to build your confidence.
3. Make sure you remember that you can flip the shapes and use them on the reverse sides.
