We were fortunate to view some very exciting exhibits at the AGA.
We spent time learning how to look at art in the Chagall exhibit.
For our studio project we tried out 2 different kinds of printmaking:
Printing with brayers and styrofoam printing plates that the children made themselves and silkscreening.
The result of both techniques combined on the same piece was fantastic!
The children were already familiar with the Inuit legend of Sedna which was strongly represented in the Inuit Art exhibit.
We also saw a very intriguing exhibit called, “Cabinets of Curiosity.”
